Okey, this one goes straight to the category "tastes better than it looks like". A pain (impossible?) to take stylish photos of, but a joy to eat. So I think I can get over my esthetic ambitions and focus on taste only.
Sauce: 150 g creme fraiche handful of fresh chopped chives 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon lemon juice
First prepare the sauce: mix creme fraiche, lemon juice, salt and chopped chives in a bowl.
Grate the halloumi and beets and mix. Add salt and pepper and eggs, mix well. Heat a frying pan and sprinkle with olive oil. Add a good tablespoon dough per of pattie on the pan, pat them flat and fry each side 2-3 minutes until cooked.
