I like the simple kitchen, where things are and taste what they look like. Sweet carrots with a rich sesame dressing make a perfect side dish and have earned their place on my Christmas dinner buffet.
10 large carrots2 teaspoons honey4 teaspoons olive oil1/2 teaspoon salt
Peel carrots and cut them to long slices.Mix honey, olive oil and salt.Cover carrots with the honey mixture and roast in 200 C for 15 minutes.Serve with sesame dressing (below).
0,5 dl sesame seeds0,5 dl olive oil0,5 dl apple juiceJuice of 1/2 lemon1/4 teaspoon cumin (jeera)1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper1/4 teaspoon black pepper1/2 teaspoon salt
Blend all ingredients to a smooth paste.
