Marinated red onion

An apple a day keeps the doctor away - an onion a day keeps everyone away! ...unless we are talking about these mild and sweet marinated red onions, which go perfectly with hamburgers or in Halloumi Baguette.


1 large red onion

0,5 dl balsamic vinegar

1 dl vegetable oil

2 teaspoons sugar

0,5 teaspoon salt


Cut the onion to thin slices.

Mix all ingredients and let rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours, mixing it every now and then.
