Pear & Raclette cheese toast

Warm toast and fresh salad in candle light - my favorite dinner for cold autumn evenings. Use good toast and ripe pears and let the cheese melt until it flows over the toast and becomes crusty on the sides. Finish with honey and black pepper - you cannot go wrong.



(4 toasts; suggest 2 per person)

4 slices of good toast
4 Raclette cheese slices
1/2 pear cut in thin slices
Black pepper
Green salad
Handful of walnuts
Balsamic glaze
Olive oil


Place one thick cheese slice and 2-3 pear slices on each toast. Pour some honey on top and bake in 225C for 15-10 minutes until cheese has melted and is crusty on the sides.

Serve immediately with green salad sprinkled with walnuts, black pepper, olive oil and balsamic glaze.
